Dear Parents,
A good education is one of those few key assets which stays with us for a lifetime and whose value only increases with each passing day. In fact, education in its purest form is like the soul of a society. Therefore, I firmly believe that it is our duty to fully utilize this golden opportunity when it is given to us. Academic excellence may not be the most important contributor to success, but often it is the first step in the right direction towards achieving our goals. Education gives us the tools we require to think, innovate and perform to our fullest capabilities.
I am happy to learn of the all-round development which all young minds at the
Apollo International School are undergoing. Like every year, this year too they have won laurels for the School;the hockey team deserves a special mention on their consistent match-winning performance. Having said that, there is always scope for improvement, and I am confident that the students would surprise us with their academic and extracurricular feats in the coming year.
I would like the students to ponder on an old Chinese saying- Learning is like rowing upstream; not to advance is to drop back. I encourage each student to row harder this year.

About School
Apollo International School is Co-educational, English medium and residential in nature, with Classes III to XII, affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education. The school is a member of CBSE Sahodaya Group, Sonepat region. School is also a member of UKIERI (United Kingdom India Education Research Initiative) and ISA (International School Award).
The
Apollo International School is divided into Houses. All efforts are made to have the right mix of academics and scholastic and co-scholastic activities for a complete personality development of students. The school receives students from all over the country and different parts of the world. While preserving the best Indian traditional values, a comprehensive teaching, offers a cross cultural exposure and a platform to make our students responsible global citizens. The school offers facilities for a variety of games and sports, physical training, Athletics, Basketball, Handball, Volleyball, Lawn Tennis, Skating, Cricket, Hockey, Football, Taekwondo, Swimming and Table Tennis.
The school offers facilities for a variety of activities including Dramatics, Music (Vocal and Instrumental), Art and Painting etc. Inter House Opportunities for participation in Extempore, Speaking, Debating, Elocution, Skit, and Short Story Narration are provided. Nature walks, picnics, treks and educational tours are also organized regularly.
Infrastructure
Spread over 76acres, the school campus is dotted with lawns, parks and huge open spaces. The campus is crisscrossed with a network of brick-paved and tarred roads and security is ensured by a well-built boundary wall, and with closed circuit cameras and with latest fire fighting equipment.
The spacious, well-lit, well-ventilated main school building has a warm red brick exterior that provides a pleasant contrast to the green, open courtyard in the center. It houses spacious, sound-proof classrooms, none of which face the other, so that activities can be carried out without any hindrance from each other.
Laboratories
The school has a modern language laboratory where the students learn to study correctly and well. There is special emphasis on the study of different languages and on proper pronunciation.
The
Apollo International School has a rich open shelf library that is designed to encourage students to develop interest in a variety of subjects and to allow them the facility of project work, research and in-depth study. State of the art, well equipped laboratories provide excellent facilities in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths, Social Science and Computer, where the genius and creativity of the students is brought out.
Computer Lab
Students are trained to become proficient in computer skills. Computer-aided learning forms an integral part of instruction. The school has also undertaken the task of making every student adopt computer based learning with support of broadband and Internet.
Hostels
The two boys hostel – Maples and Marigold are situated on the eastern side of the main school building. It is welcoming double- story structure with consisting of twin units with several dormitories in each unit along with duct air cooling and air conditioners for summers and central hot water supply for winter providing the basic comforts which is essential for the growth of the children.
Girl’s hostel complex is located separately from the boy’s hostel and is equipped with all the facilities.
One teacher is in charge of each dormitory assisted by housemothers, wardens and helpers. 12 children are put under one teacher’s care for over all development and growth.
All the hostels have common rooms, fully equipped with indoor games such as carom boards, table tennis, chess along with television and music system.
Mess
There are two dining halls equipped with Bain Marie to serve hot and hygienic food. The catering is in the capable hands of an efficient Mess Manager.
Children enjoy home cooked vegetarian meals that are both nutritious and tasty.
There is provision of air cooling, air conditioner and full power back up. Filtered drinking water is provided through Reverse Osmosis plants.
Health & Fitness
An infirmary for round the clock medical support is available in the campus.
A fully equipped and functional infirmary is an integral part of the hostel. It is under the care of a qualified doctor and a resident nurse. Results of the medical checkup are recorded on a card of each student. When required students are required students are referred to the specialists in Sonepat and Delhi.
The future of a nation is built in its classrooms
AIS provide support and guidance to both weak as well as bright students through diagnostic tests, extra classes, group discussion, extension lectures and close interaction with teachers. International exposure is provided to the students and the staff through exchange programs. AIS incorporate extensive use of audio-visual teaching aids, broadband and multimedia. There is great emphasis on project work and students are encouraged to use the library to carry out assigned work. Independent thinking and learning through discussions and group activities in encouraged.
